Our number one goal is to make sure that you have an enjoyable and successful portrait session when you visit a MasterPortrait studio. The following information has been developed with this goal in mind. Please read through the topics carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to call your local studio or the corporate office.

Full Payment for sessions and orders is required at the time of photography and when an order is placed. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard & Discover. A $10.00 deposit is required to reserve your appointment. The $10.00 deposit is applied to your purchase. This deposit ensures that you will not have to endure long waits in the studio. Since we reserve our studio specifically for your session, a 24 hour notice is required for appointment changes or cancellations or you forfeit your deposit.

Your Album & Order will be shipped via Priority Mail and normally arrives in 2 to 4 business days at your door. Please be sure to write your address clearly on your customer information form to avoid shipping errors.

It is illegal to scan, duplicate or copy a MasterPortrait portrait. We will aggressively pursue violations of our protection under the United States copyright laws. Minimum damages are $750.00, plus attorney fees.

For groups larger than six, there is an additional charge of $3.00 for each person after the sixth. Group size is dependent upon studio location. Please call your local studio manager before scheduling.

Small Album, Mommy To Be, Baby’s First Year Sessions and Sheet Specials do not include wardrobe changes. However, diaper shots and bare bottom shots ARE NOT considered a clothing change! Large Album Sessions include ONE five minute wardrobe change. $5 will be charged for each additional change (time permitting). Changing facilities are available during your session only.

Unlike most portrait studios we book just one appointment per time slot. We do this so our customers do not have to endure a long wait in the lobby. In the event you arrive late for your session, and there is someone scheduled after you, you WILL have to reschedule your appointment or change to a smaller session. Sessions cannot be extended for any reason if another customer is scheduled.

Our photographers will make every effort to minimize eyeglass glare, however in some instances it is unavoidable due to the shape of the lenses. Basic retouching starts at $5 per image. Basic retouching includes: fine facial lines, blemishes, bags under eyes and glass glare. More difficult / time consuming retouching is available and will be priced per image based on the amount of work required. A representative will call you with an estimate within 2 business days.

MasterPortrait will not photograph boudoir or risqué sessions or children two and older in their underwear. Customers desiring a bare bottom portrait of their infant must provide their own blanket.

We offer a satisfaction guarantee on all products. Our Products are produced with the highest quality materials. We will cheerfully replace any product found to be defective. We only offer refunds if your portraits are materially different from the images viewed in our studio.

We do not give copyright releases for others to produce products we sell. We will offer a copyright release for duplication of a single portrait (within 3 business days of request) for products that do not adversely affect our portrait sales for a $8.00 fee ($15.00 for same day service and $25.00 for one hour service). We do not charge for copyright releases for most lithographically printed publications such as church directories, newspaper, or school yearbooks.

We cannot offer re-shoots due to dissatisfaction with clothing, facial expressions, hair, or other items beyond our control. In the event that we determine we have failed in our photography, we will offer a re-shoot for the inferior part of the session. Re-shoots Must Be Approved By the Studio Manager Prior to the Customer Leaving the Studio. In the event that the studio manager is absent or busy with photography, we will evaluate whether we have failed in our photography and notify you within 2 business days. We will then remove the portraits that are inferior and release the remainder of the order for home delivery. Re-shoots must be scheduled & completed with in 2 weeks from initial session.
